Tenants to Homeowners Presents:The Affordable Housing Fun Run

An affordable housing fundraising community event.

Event date and time: 9am – 10:30am, Saturday, September 24, 2022

Location: Beatnik Court, Lawrence, KS 66044 (Parking is located at the giant grass lot to the N and East of Beatnik)

This 5k Fun Run is perfect for all skill levels! From spandex to denim, dogs and strollers, walkers and rollers, all are welcome! Get your run on and support affordable housing here in Douglas County!

Tenants to Homeowners’ Fun Run For Affordable Housing takes place on the Burroughs Creek Trail during our Battle of the Builders annual event. Start off the day with a 9:00am Fun Run and enjoy the bouncy house, snow cones, craft beer, and live music by Spencer and Rains, Tyler Gregory, and Hear and Now throughout the day!!!

Packet pick-up: Thursday, Sept 22 – Friday, September 23 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. at Gary Gribbles Running Sports Lawrence, 839 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, KS and at the event site (Beatnik Court) on the morning of the event

Cost for participation:

$30 for adults

$15 for those 13-17yrs of age

Free for kids 12 and under (does not include t-shirt, meal, and beverage).

Paid registrants will receive a T-shirt, beverage, and a voucher for freshly grilled eats by Chef Jeremi (food (veggie options available) will be available on-site following the race). Medals will be awarded for fastest times, goofiest costumes and for the largest team of runners.
